Wadi Bani Khalid

Camels, camels, camels !
The wadi is the polar opposite of Wadi Tiwi .. and not our vibe.
Concrete roads, sterile and sanitized.
Following Google maps where the roads don't keep up!
A mistaken drive through a village.. happy kids, not so happy elders.
Getting dark and needing a flat-ish surface we settled for where the road stops.
Not our best camping spot, but the excitement and adrenaline of the previous few days had caught up so it was a quiet night with our podcasts and talking books and an early night.
The starry sky for the middle of the night loo run was mind-blowing and the highlight of this spot.
