Well I seem to be going from tourist attraction to tourist attraction & still not actually seen the wall! Or maybe I have & I haven’t realised it. First visit to Vindolanda which was a massive archeological site. It was £12.50 to go round & there were lots of stones but no idea if any of them were the wall. 😂
Next to The Sill as I fancied the rooftop walk but then got distracted also by the Shaun the sheep walk. On heading out I discovered I had to pay for parking & that you could also overnight park here for £10 so decided to stay put tonight as I’m tucked away in a corner & it’s good here for the dogs.
On wading through all the leaflets I’ve picked up discovered I can walk to the “famous” bit of Hadrians wall from here so will either do that tonight or in the morning. My pursuit of the wall continues ….Läs mer
