Pompei

It was so hard to get up this morning...decided not to fill the day with activities...recover from the travel and constant driving here and there. So settled on seeing Pompei...in the middle of the afternoon ...in August!
But on the way there was this big shiny building, a factory I think for Buffalo mozzarella. We stopped in and tried some mozzarella and got a small tiramisu. It was good...the mozzarella was good too, different than what we're used to but good.
Back to Pompei...It was hot and all the stones just Roasted us!
But am glad the girls came.
We wandered around keeping to the shaded side, discovered the water spouts and cooled off.
Had a lovely early dinner .
Back at home had a cooling dip in the pool.
We've been trying to decide what to do tomorrow but there are forest fire that may be impacting some highways...will have to see what we do.Читать далее
