  • The Carpenters

    February 8 in Thailand ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

Having never heard the Carpenters for many a long year, they seem to be something of a Thai obsession. Every live music set we’ve been to seems to have Close to you as a standard.

We got in the taxi for the long drive to our next hotel and guess what the playlist was?Read more

  • White temple

    February 13 in Thailand ⋅ ☀️ 31 °C

Arguably the best known temple(but we preferred the blue), this is spectacular but not as ornate on the interior. I was reprimanded for wearing a lace cover up despite many people going in with bare shoulders in Thai costumes. Felt a bit of a double standard but when in Rome….Read more

With a restaurant on site and breakfast included it’s proving to be a real gem. Bonus was that the owner came in yesterday with 4 maltipoo puppies in a pram! I was too excited to take a photo!Read more
