Ahipara

Beaches day, we went to several amazing beaches on both sides of the Pacific ocean. The Island is very narrow where we are and within an hour or so we can be on either side of the Pacific. One of the beaches we went to was called 90 Miles beach, actually it's only 50 miles long :-) Kevin wanted to see the surf and wind conditions on both sides and how it would be for kite foiling. After seeing and walking several beaches that in any other country would be packed with people, we decided that the one in front of our place is best! Look at these beaches! World class indeed. One unexpected treat was that since it was very low tide, we saw lots of living clams in the sand! I collected a few discarded shells, so pretty! If we lived here I would definitely have a display of them.Les mer
