    We leave sweltering Europe and fly to Japan, where our building shook and swayed twice due to earthquakes 🫨. We've been happily site seeing and went to Disneyland while waiting for 2 Typhoons to arrive. At least it's not hot 🥵 👍🥰Les mer

    A short 3 hour flight from Marrakesh to Paris. With a 5am drive to Annecy with Alexi and Zoe. Managed to pick up a Morrocan bug from a family sitting around us on the plane so abit more subdued. But still managed to visit local markets, walk around, hire a boat and swim in the lake. Visit a chateau, hike to a waterfall, have lunch and another swim and watch the world cup in between.     Last day in Morrocco 🤩 and what a great day for a hot air balloon ride. Held onto the rails like my life depended upon it. 🤣 Then dinner where we had the best tagliatelle bolognaise even compared to Sicily standards who would've thought the pasta would've been better than Italy 🤩Les mer

    June 11 we flew to Marrakesh, checked in then walked around. June 12 we did a tour in the Medina, enjoyed a nana nap and visited the big Jamma El Fna night market. June 13 being all souked out we had great fun at quad biking, camel riding, and fire dancing tour in Agafay desert 🏝️watched Morocco v Brazil world cup then bed by midnight 🥳 June 14 a walk down Mohammed V ave found this french restaurant, watched Aust v turkey very civilized. Aust won!!!Les mer

    June 8-9 an unforgettable mini van ride to Fes to the oldest and biggest medina in the world exists. 9000 alleyways, a tannery, oldest University and souks galore. Again all the senses are bombarded accompanied by endless hawkers, unofficial tour guides wanting to help you find the way and taxi's badgering us made for an adventurous time.Les mer

    After spending two days walking the medina and must see tourist "attractions" we took a Get Your Guide tour out to Cape Spartel where the Mediterranean sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. A ride with a happy camel 🤣 A trip to Hercules cave courtesy of our "helpful guide" (minus 5 euros 😂) and a night out in one of the "hidden" nightclubs of Tangier.Les mer

    A 1 hour ferry trip across the Mediterranean sea from Tarifa to Tangier. It's a place that definitely stimulates all of your senses all at once. The smells, sight and noise of the narrow alleys of the Medina, the cats, tagines, souks with olives, raw meat, clothing and trincates. Hawkers, beggars, shoppers and the call to prayer.Les mer

    Two buses to Tarifa! 🚌 and pleasantly surprised 🙀. Gibraltar is just kms away and so is Morocco only 14km! 🌍 This place has such a unique vibe, with its ancient castle and white washed narrow streets and a lively kitesurfing scene. Loving this breezy paradise! 🏰🏄‍♀️ Even if it is for only one night 🥰Les mer

    June 1-2 a fun couple of days site seeing, maintaining 20k steps per day. First stop Cathedral Seville, lunch, siesta, flamenco show, river walk, gelato and night trip to art structure made entirely of wood then safely tucked up in bed at midnight 🥳 next day museums to avoid heat of day 🥵Les mer

    A bus trip from Lisbon to Seville Spain for a few days site seeing. At 40 degree heat we did hop on off bus found a local cafe and ate snails (carcoles). It's a delicacy that occurs May to August. Tried them Ian loved them, me not as much. Then flamenco shows, other cafes and home to bed.Les mer

    May 29 an incredible day exploring Sintra, Pena Palace, Regaleira, Cabo da Roca & Cascais via Buendia tours. From Lisbon, we bused to the stunning Pena Palace, built for King Ferdinand II as his retreat from the hot summer 🌞 days, and ended our journey at Europe's westernmost tip.     May 28 was another walking day! What can we see in lisbon with no itinerary or set plan😆? 🇵🇹 We found out about 1755 earthquake and tsunami from the history museum, walked up to the castle but didn't go in. Enjoyed a delicious cod fish Mornay for lunch and Capped off the night with a movie on the TV and some MyAuchan salad & noodles. 🎬🍜 #LisbonAdventuresLes mer

    After our overnight stay in Obidos it's off to Lisbon to do washing and site seeing. Obidos is roughly 1 hour by bus to Lisbon. During our morning stay in Obidos we Visited the well preserved 13-17century Castle of Óbidos and town. Temp getting increasingly hotter even near the coast 🥵Les mer

  • May 26 - Nazare to Obidos

    May 26th is epic dood! 🤩 Off to Nazare we go, the big wave capital of the world! 🌊 Such a dream to visit! A bus trip, lunch in Nazare, a cable car up to the fort, lighthouse, and, surf museum! 🏄‍♀️ The waves are created via deep trench infront of the lighthouse forcing waves to rise 100 feet. We finished the day in Obidos. Tired but So excited! ✨Les mer

    Woke up on May 24th in beautiful Porto after a late flight, ready for adventure! 🇵🇹 We walked from Zero Box to the port, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and then accidentally biked to Matosinhos Beach during a local religious parade! 🚴‍♀️ What a day, finished with a walk to the lookout to take photos of the sunset.   • May 21 - the Palace

    We stayed right in the centre of Madrid and could walk everywhere. Very busy area but it meant we explored the city's origins, from the first civilisation to now being the grand palace. We had energy to look at the art collection of the monarchs for past 1000years. Spain truly is a land of conquerors and the conquered. A fun tuk-tuk ride 🛺 to an Egyptian temple and lovely rose garden too! 🌸 Tapas dinenr in La latina district @ 21.30 and bed 24.00 🥳 the Spanish eat really late in summer - 9-12pmLes mer
