1973 Europe

Bob's postcard home:

"29 July '73

Dear Glenn and Gang,

I'm writing this card as we cruise down the Moselle River to the Rhine. The weather is beautiful although we had a few rainy days last week. Everything has gone well on the trip. I managed to drive on the left in England o.k. The kids have enjoyed many castles and the canals of Bruge [sic], Amsterdam, and Venice. Our trip up the Jungfrau was very impressive. We enjoyed swimming at Lido off of Venice. We have had good times in every place we have visited. Paris was great but even more expensive than I expected. tTomorrow we go to Copenhagen. Hold down the fort and I'll see you August 15th.
