Die Peak Tram befördert schon seit 125 Jahren, Mensch wie Tier auf den höchsten Punkt (552 m) der Insel. Die vorderen Plätze waren zu anfänglichen Zeiten nur für den Gouverneur und Mitglieder der Kronkolonie Hong Kong’s. Heute darf der vorne sitzen, der zuerst da ist.
Wir haben uns ein Kombiticket gekauft, in der Hoffnung die Aussichtsplattform mit dem Blick auf Hong Kong wäre vielleicht doch frei von Nebel und Wolken, doch seht selbst.
The Peak Tram has been transporting people and animals to the highest point (552 m) on the island for 125 years. The front seats were only for the governor and members of Hong Kong's crown colony in the early days. Today, whoever gets there first gets to sit in front.
