Day 81 - Unuyi salt flats day 3

Very early start to go to the salt flats for sunrise. The jeep was motoring well this morning, so we drove through the wet part of the flats to get to a point where we could take some group photos. After that we drove to the driers part, it’s actually mad how big it is, it goes on forever, all you can see is salt for miles and miles. Think the guide said that it’s 12m deep as well. Having been to the ones in Salta, the Uyuni ones are way more impressive.

After finishing in the slat flats we went back to Uyuni where the tour ended. Visited a train cemetery where all the old trains were abondoned. After that it was a long wait around uyuni until I was getting a night bus to Sucre at 10pm. Uyuni was such a random place as well, hard to describe really.Read more
