Naoshima

Today, we travelled to Naoshima Island. It is known for its works by maestros of contemporary art, impressionist paintings, and architecture. We have a couple of days here to explore 😀

Today was spent visiting some of the art museums on Naoshima. These included Benesse Houses and Chichu Art Museums and the Art House Project.
After our "arty farty" day out, we decided to have a relaxing soak in the Naoshima Public Bathhouse "I Love Yu." It was a great experience.
Today, we travelled to Miyajima Island. It was an interesting task getting there. Ferry, 3 trains and ferry. All made harder as all high-speed trains have been slowed down due to the earthquake lastWeiterlesen

Today, we headed up to the observeratory on Mt Misen. At 528mt high, we had fabulous 360° views.
Today, we arrived in Hiroshima.
We only have one day here, and our top priorities are to visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, to see the Flame of Peace and the Atomic Bomb Dome. It's definitely aWeiterlesen
Today, we travelled from Hiroshima to Tokyo on the Bullet Train for our last day in Japan.
Tomorrow morning, we will fly home via KL.

Our wonderful adventures in Japan have come to an end, and we're heading home to Adelaide.
