We dock in the best location. We are about a 20 min WALK to the White House. The Smithsonian, the capital, the monument all within about 1 and half miles from the boat I hopped on an electric bike and rode around town. Went into the national archives building and saw the declaration.Read more

TravelerI usually get a couple of hours at a port to look around depending on the timing of things on the cruise. I have about 6 hours today in DC and maybe a few more tomorrow. It is always a decision between rest and sleep or getting off the boat.
