• Fowlers Bay Bush Camp

    Jan 31–Feb 1 in Australia ⋅ 🌬 24 °C

Our camping spot for tonight $10 per couple with fully self contained caravan. We leave our details and payment where required, and go and choose our set up position. Both in agreement, so settled in short order. We unhitch the ute and set out the mat (very fine dusty dirt/sand). Then we go for a drive to go into Fowlers Bay for a look around.
Get back here 2pm and have our lunch. A heated venison cheese kranski each in bread, then a Muesli bar each.
Roger does some maintenance on the caravan, then we relax for the afternoon. Reading our books and researching for Ceduna camp spot. Arvo drinks include dry biscuits and dip.
Tea tonight is finishing off the reheated sausage surprise. Followed by yoghurt. Roger showers, I do dishes. Relaxing before bed - I'm updating budget books etc.
1/02/25 Saturday Another sleep in, thanks mainly to our time change - we get up around 7.30am. I decide to go for a run, even though it's after 8am by the time I go. I head back towards Fowlers Bay township and get there to the Jetty before turning around and returning to our caravan. Porridge ready for me, just needs a quick reheat - so breakfast and then shower. Get ourselves ready to go - leave here just after 10am. Ceduna, with Martin Hayman, here we come!
