    Willans Hill Minature Railway Wagga

    May 18 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 13 °C

Drive here and park near the Botanical Gardens. First up, Ben and Helen decide we'll head to the Gardens Cafe for morning tea. This is a nice warm up, cappuccino for Roger, chai latte for me and chopped up Carmel slice to share with Woodhouse's. Huddy and Pippa get the chance to play in the playground while we wait for our cuppas to be ready.
Next we go over to the miniature train boarding area - Helen kindly gets us tickets to ride, as Rog wasn't quite 'on the ball' enough to pay for all instead. $4 each.
This is a lovely thing to do! A decent ride around, going through tunnels as well - just not allowed to use mobile phones while on the ride (safety reasons).
Once our ride finished - we're now walking over to the zoo area that's here as well.
