On our drive here from Narrandera, we stop along the way to get some firewood from the side of the road. When we arrive in the town, we start by checking out a couple of free camping spots as found by using Wiki Camps. The 2 places we look at - are nicely beside the river, one has a permanent camper - tent arrangement - we're not comfy with (rubbish all around the camp) and the other (both really) would be difficult to get out of (slippery clay ground if wet) if the forecast rain comes in. We decide from our drive around - we like the look of Punt Hotel RV camping on offer. It's free - though patronage of the Hotel is encouraged and appreciated. So that's where we head to.Læs mere
