after four weeks at sea, and ~1800 nautical miles we made it to darwin, our last stop in aussie!! ⛵️

ПутешественникCongratulations on successfully covering that long distance through the waters off Australia’s east and north coasts - one of the most remote and undeveloped sailing routes. You are true old salts 🦭; Poseidon was with you. 🧜♂️ All the best and fair winds for the legs ahead. ⛵️😎 Warm regards to the crew and the kangaroos. PS: 1.800 nautical miles in 4 weeks = a sailing distance on a European scale, comparable to a route from Genoa - Toulon - Ibiza - Cartagena - Málaga - Gibraltar - then out into Atlantic to Gran Canaria.

an island where people almost never see white tourists. We got treated like royalty and took thousands of selfies with everyone 🫣 definitely one of the craziest experiences we’ve ever had.
ПутешественникIt is incredible that something like this still exists in our highly communicative and interconnected world—an experience everyone should have at least once. The scenes of your welcome remind me of Simberi Island in Papua New Guinea; in 2015, we were the first ship in four years to anchor off the village of Maragon. To the local children, we were like aliens with mobile phones that let them see themselves, while our modern sailing yacht served as both an adventure playground and a place of learning. Those encounters were a moment of profound realization; I was a different person afterward—it was philosophically fascinating. Soak up the images and insights; few people in our world get to experience moments like these. Wishing you a wonderful time and many discoveries in the Moluccas and the Banda Sea. ⛵️🇮🇩😎
