Oia - Santorini Day 3

A last minute bus trip organised by Leah Crawford to Oia. Andrew decided not to go so I joined the group and throughly enjoyed the day
We stopped at Oia and went immediately to the Caldera View. Once again we needed to jostle with other tourists to take photos. The vantage point is quintessentially what everyone thinks of when thinking of Greece. Next stop was Megalochori. A beautiful village that you walk the length of through it. So many photo opportunities for our group to take group and couples photos.
Back on board the bus for a short drive to The Three Bells. Stunning views overlooking Santorini- again more photos taken.
As it was our last night together we all had dinner together. The restaurant sits on the side of the mountain and had no walls to stop the wind. It was freezing- we needed snow gear it was that cold. The waiters decided to move us downstairs where we had a measure of protection from the wind but not everyone was protect. Then it started to rain. What a night. Lots of laughter and frivolity. Was truely sad to begin saying goodbye to the ones leaving early the next morning. We all feel so blessed to have had the privilege of sharing this wonderful journey together.Read more
