    March 5, 2018 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 21 °C

Fantastic free camp ground at Frank Potter Reserve, surrounded by boutique wineries and only a 15 min drive to Strathalbyn. First ride on the motorbike to Goolwa and Victor Harbour. Nick pillioned me - very sore bum but it was worth it.Read more

    March 7, 2018 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

What a quirky little place but what a beautiful campground right on the beach. The town itself has a few old houses which are mostly desserted with another part of the town having a few houses which are used as holiday homes. There is a disused limestone quarry and jetty. Only $9 per person per night - great value! Nick tried his hand at fishing but unfortunately no luck - definitely needs more practice.Read more

  • Port Lincoln

    March 22, 2018 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Finally the wind has stopped and we arrived in Port Lincoln on a beautiful warm and sunny day. Stopped on a farm on the way that had their own butcher-absolutely fabulous meat so we stocked up the fridge and freezer. Will be going back before we leave to re-stock after spending a few days here. Thank you to our wonderful hosts, Michael, Simone and Clay Bertram who let us park the van up out the front of their place and took us crabbing on the boat. Had a feast on the Saturday night of crabs, fish and calamari-just delicious-thanks to our wonderful chef, Michael.Read more

This is our stop for the Easter weekend. Beautiful beaches and water. Nick has already caught a few fish-whiting and flathead which we had for dinner on the Saturday night. About 4km from here is Gallipoli Beach where the movie 'Gallipoli' was made. I can see why they picked this location. Took another drive into Coffin Bay and had some yummy oysters kilpatrick.Read more
