    Last day in the 4x4s today and we crossed the boarder to San Pedro in Chile in time for their independence day.
    On the trip there were more sights and we did see an andean fox which was pretty cool 😎 🦊 and the Aussies were getting excited over a frozen stream (very amusing!)
    We only have 1 full day in Chile so decided to do the sensible thing and have a night out so we could be awake and well for the day (not!)
    But again, karioke madness (why do I do this, it's basically torture for the room) and a lot of fun...

    San Pedro - Chile

    So woke up and staggered dazed and confused around San Pedro for a couple of hours with Maike and Harvey, sweet little place, glad there wasn't much to do though 😅
    In the afternoon, went to Valley de la Luna... apparently it is where they filmed star wars or something... but anyways had a good day climbing up sand dunes and along a ridge taking in all the scenery and not wallowing in hangover sorrow...Meer informatie

    Wine and horses

    So on 20th we had a full day bus ride... bus breaking down included! So nothing really to share from that experience!
    But we did cross the boarder again to Argentina and arrived in Salta...
    The day in Salta was very much to a ranch for unlimited wine with Filipe and Rebecca while the rest of the tribe went horse riding... (I took allergy tablets just to be there for the wine, no chance of getting on a horse!)
    Amazing bbq to follow and I tried to set my mum up with the ranch owner... sorry mum, you are now expected there in 1 years time!!!!

    Buenos Aires

    Last full day in South America...
    All had to get up very early at about 4:30am... for some it was more of a struggle than others... for a flight down to Buenos Aires... we littered the airport with backpacks and sleeping bodies while we waited for check in! Was very funny!
    Did manage to sleep a bit on the plane though so when arrived in BA felt a lot better...
    Went for an 'orientation walk' which ended in the food market... then proceeded to get very lost around the city with Harvey... but hey, we saw a lot! 🤣
    Went to a history of tango show which was very serious, great to see and got a 3 course meal out of it (although I wouldn't recommend the desert... weird gelatinous triangles with a triangle of cheese 😶 with a panicked voice of regret tagged on... "eat it, its good!")
    Went back to the hostel for, yup, you guessed it, karioke night! 🤣    Meer informatie

    Last day in S.America

    Last day in South America and got to spend it with one of my favourite people... getting a bit lost again but totally worth it!
    Tried to visit La Boca... made it to the area but completely missed the nice part 🤣
    Went for lunch and there was live dancing again before rushing back to the hostel area to watch Ireland vs S.Africa rugby with half the group (with some Irish and a S.African... so much nervous energy!)
    Had to say goodbyes before hopping in a taxi to the airport...
    Not gunna lie, not sure if it was tiredness, slight hangover or just pure emotions but I did have a little cry (how embarrassing, poor taxi driver)!
    Have had the most amazing time in South America over the past 5 weeks and have made some (hopefully) life long friends... we got so lucky with our group, I don't think I have laughed so much, so often as with these guys
