We are hankering down for a few days of miserable weather.. Friday will be another "snow on the road day!" Therefore we decided to take Waymaker through to Lumsden to dump and fill her up with freshもっと詳しく

旅行者You are sure right there... strong ends snd rain today... snow arrives in 2-3hours down to 200mtrs we are at 320mtrs above sea level!!... snow on the roads. The Milfird Sound buses have been returning already. They normally come through around 6.30pm. We have the heater on already and everything is closed up and car secured.
Wish we were there as looking forward to experiencing snow around the van!! Take care x

We had a great dump of snow last night and as I write this more is falling. With the sun on the mountains and trees they become totally awesome.
旅行者Magnificent. Gods beautiful creation, looks so peaceful. I say this from the warmth of Tauranga. Are you warm in your home.
旅行者We are toasties warm.. we have only the electric heating going.. the gas is hotter and diesel heating is tops but not needed.
旅行者Poor lambs down there. They will just be new borns. They dont lamb down there until October.
旅行者The lambs next to us were born a month back.. quite large now... being spring the snow melts quickly therefore there is plenty of food, and large trees about for protection.

After three wonderful months at the Athol Prayer and Praise Centre we are now heading north towards Rotorua/Tauranga.

旅行者Your 2nd photo looks like you've got a machine gun in your hand. I assume it's a saw of some sort. Or do you shoot the branches off down there.
旅行者No it's a battery power kanga saw. We have just received advice of severe snow fall tonight down to 100mtrs. Time to book a trip to Fiji!!
