Wai-O-Tapu

Wai-O-Tapu is one of Rototura's geothermal areas. It was formed by thousands of years of volcanic activity. We got to see Lady Knox Geyser go off, bubbling mud pools, the Artist's Palette, the steaming Champagne Pool (74°C on the surface), the Oyster Pool and the Devil's Bath (acidity of 2).
It was a pretty special and unique experience and we had a great time.Meer informatie
