We got a van!
The first couple of nights we slept in car parks and had showers on the beach. But we we're mostly just chilling and making upgrades in Cornwall Park. What a life.

We stayed in Whangarei for a couple of days (06/12 - 09/12) and even managed to take part in another parkrun.

Bay of Islands

What an awesome day! We went on a 6h sailing boat (Gungha II) tour, saw dolphins, penguins, sharks and stingrays, went for a lovely swim and explored an island. And Jake had a great time helping with Czytaj więcej

After the boat tour we left Paihia to go to Kerkeri to visit the Rainbow Waterfalls.
Cape Reinga

Cooks Beach

We started the day by going to New Chums Beach which was a very pretty white sand beach. After a stop in Whitianga (yay Isi got new flippers!) we went to Cooks Beach and walked to the Shakespeare Czytaj więcej
Cathedral Cove

It was one of only 6-7 times in a year that the sea would actually meet in the middle of Cathedral Cove and we couldn't walk all the way through it.

Hot Water Beach

How awesome is this?! At Hot Water Beach you can dig a hole in the sand and create your own hot pool. The water can get really, really hot. We were relaxing in our hole for quite a while and cooled Czytaj więcej
