旅行者Hi Rhonda, I hope your day of rest helped and you’re feeling full of energy today. The scenery is beautiful, and the villages are charming. Do you have any idea how many people live in these villages ? Also, what is the second language on the street names? Have a great day!
旅行者Yes, the rest day really helped. The villages are very small. Some might have 50? people and others 100 and the larger ones maybe 1000. The second language is Basque. It is taught in schools. One of the hostesses explained to me that her daughter is going to Basque School because if she would have youe to Spanish school, she would be alone. I don't know why but I'm guessing it has to do with enrolment numbers.

旅行者I went to the camino shoe store and the owner, Ignacio, was extremely helpful. I got new shoes, sandals, socks, magnesium, and vitamins. I was wearing the wrong footwear!!!!
