Barcelona!!

Last month, something happened that completely changed how I see life.
I live in Rome, and one day in July, I was standing with my skateboard on a bike lane when this girl, a Spanish/Catalan girl, came up to me we started talking a lot, and I showed her a terrace with a beautiful view of the whole city then we said goodbye, since she had a tour in a museum.
The next day, we started texting, and we met two more times in Rome before she had to go back to Barcelona, I'm not falling in love, but it's seems like it happened something.
It felt like, after a year full of depression and dark moments, something finally broke through just meeting her opened me to another world, she made me see life differently, gave me a light I had been missing.
Weeks passed, and we kept texting almost every day by the end of the summer, I decided to do it: I asked her if I could come visit her in Barcelona, and I did.
Now I’m sitting here at the Barcelona airport after three amazing days, I’m not “in love” in the strict sense, but this whole story feels like it pulled me out of depression, I feel alive again, I see things in a new way.
There’s no real chance of us becoming a couple, we live in different cities, we have very different visions of love and the future, and honestly I’m not ready for a relationship, and i'm not fall in love, but I’m okay with that.
