Took our folding bikes for a ride today in DC.
Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, MLK Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial.

Visited outside of Washington memorial and White House.
Later, found a sports bar to watch 2nd half of Blazers/Warriors basketball game. Blazers played well for 3 quarters before losing.
Washington DC - day 2

Visited the Ford Theater.
Saw book tower of books written about Lincoln.
Saw sculptures outside Federal Trade Commission.
Capital Hill area

Visited the Library of Congress and Supreme Court building. Had a Capital building tour lead by an Oregon congresswoman staff member.
Back home in NJ

First stop in NJ is mom's house. We had a nice dinner with brother Tim and sister in law Dani.
Mom gave me my grandfather's retirement clock.
Stephens State Park campground

Back in northern NJ on 4/20.
Visited Stanhope House, just down the street from my old house.
Flashback Event / reunion

Played Ultimate Frisbee with these great friends 30+ years ago. It was great to see them again.

Stayed in Ohio and didn't even unhitch the trailer or setup the tent and canopy.

Stopped in a suburb of Columbus Ohio to visit Jackie's "girlfriend Pat" and her mom and sister.

St Louis Gateway Arch

We didn't have time to go up in the Arch, but we walked around, visited old courthouse, and watched the movie on how the Arch was built. Very impressive!!!!
Onondaga Cave state park campground

Got on a cave tour just as we arrived at Onondaga cave in Missouri.

No rain all day while we were driving. Rain found us again just before we got to the campsite.
It was no fun setting up in the rain and wind; then had to make dinner 😣
Denver, CO

On our way to Denver, we stopped for gas and met another teardrop 😃

Doors Open Denver house tours

Visited 3 spectacular places participating in the "Doors Open Denver" event today; Castle Marne (a B&B), the governor's residence, and St. John's Cathedral.
bRUNch Run

Ran a very informal 5K, which included breakfast and 2 drinks afterwards at Telegraph bistro.
Dill flavored Bloody Mary's were tasty and the Mamosa wasn't bad either 😆
Green River state park campground

Navajo and Queens Garden loop hike

Did an amazing hike today in Bryce Canyon. Started at Sunset Point. Went down switchbacks on Navajo trail and back up the Queen Garden trail to Sunrise Point, then walked back along the rim back toもっと詳しく
Fairyland loop hike in Bryce Canyon

Before doing the hike, we visited all the nearby view points. They were all very impressive.
