Campground, Bamberton

Found a beautiful campground in a provincial park. Decided to do some camping for the next 2 nights. Travelling is exhausting.
Beach, Bamberton

Went for a swim, but wow, it was too cold to stay in the water. You notice that it is in the Pacific that you are swimming. Decided to just sit on the beach and read a book (The Martian).
BC Ferries, Sidney

Taking the ferry back to Vancouver. A little bit expensive (70$) but it is easy, and you don't have to wait long.
Othello Tunnels, Hope

Another hike! Started with just a small walk through some old railroad tunnels, but eventually did the big trail. A little bit scary going on a small trail in the hills all by yourself, but it is niceRead more

Princeton

Started driving very early this morning, arrived in Princeton, but besides the very nice trip to here (with some deer on suicide missions) not much to do in this town. So now to the next town!
Kelowna

Feeling like 'Knokke' here, but nice city near the lake but feels a little bit made, with too green lawns. And it is very warm here. Boiling in my van without airco. At least they have a lot of winesRead more
Christina Lake

Having a swim and some sunbathing on the road to Nelson. The water is nice and really cooling compared to the temperatures here.
Nelson

Looks like hipster headquarters here.
Nakusp

After hipster town, now a beautiful town next to a lake in the mountains. Buying a boat is still on my bucket list. Nice and quiet here.
Ferry Galena Bay

Did I already said that it is beautiful here. Even while waiting for the ferry you are treated with an amazing view.
Kamloops

Brookside Campsite

2 nights on a campground to get away of the rain. And also glad to take a shower and do my laundry.
Barkerville

A restoration of an old gold rush city. Not really the Wild West, but close to it.
Prince George

After a long trip, finally arrived in Prince George for the night. Sightseeing will be for tomorrow.
Prince Rupert

After a very long drive but with amazing views arrived in Prince Rupert. I think this is my maximum on kilometres a day, but you never know. Was thinking of taking a ferry to Alaska, but it looks youRead more
Butze Rapid Trail, Prince Rupert

My van needs to get some service, stupid check engine light. But that give me some time to explore the nature around Prince Rupert.
Stewart

After an eventful drive arrived in Stewart, a very small town near the border with Alaska. Only just before dark arrived here, because some problems with the car as mentioned and because the road wasRead more
Hyder, Alaska

Made it into Alaska!
Salmon Glacier

This was insane. Driving up a mountain on a gravel road... But it is worth it!
Bell II lodge

Staying in a lodge on the road to Watson Lake. So expensive here. But I wanted to celebrate a month in Canada with a decent bed and bath.
Watson Lake

Arrived in Yukon territory. Resting somewhat before finding a place to stay for the night.
Fort Nelson

Again an amazing trip. Saw a couple of black bears, bisons, mountain goats and some beautiful scenery on the way here. To bad the camping spot is nothing good and expensive. Should have looked forRead more
Dawson Creek

Not the 90's series, but just a town on the road. Resting here, tomorrow I'm going to Jasper!
Wabasso Campground, Jasper
