Left Cincinnati to start our adventure. Flew to Ft Lauderdale, train to Miami, van to Hotel. Now the wait begins.⁰

On board Norwegian Sky and ready to go. Fish on the carpet in room hallways to tell us which way is front and back. Fish swim up stream to forward.

Leaving Miami

Finding our way around ship and watching the ship pull away while the sun sets on Miami. Rough waters through dinner and into evening - hard to walk a straight line. Had dinner with a nice couple from Maryland whose son is a junior at the Navel academy. Another lady joined us also from Michigan. Watched a Variety Show in the theater to end our evening. We had to stay inside ship because of the rough seas.Read more

Sun and beautiful clear water!!
Bar on the beach built around a tree that the hurricane didn't destroy.

, While waiting for a taxi we met David, a young man from MI that was traveling alone. He joined our taxi ride to and from Pirate Cove beach. A memorable taxi ride to and from ship!

The destruction from the hurricane last Sept 2019 was devastating. We spoke with an islander who praised the Lord that she and her family made it through. The ocean came in and covered most of the island. People were neck deep in the water.

She praised the US for all of their help. They were here immediately going door to door to check on people and handed out food. There are people still missing.

You rule over the seas; when it's waves mount , you still them. Psalm 89:9.

Dinner was spent with a nice couple from MN... and David. Lots of fun and laughter at dinner. Two desserts "each" were had by all!!! The evening was closed out by a show with Motown songs and dancers.Read more

Great Stirrup Cay

Grand Stirrup Cay/CANCELLED

High winds (60 mph).... 10 Ft waves were the cause of this port being cancelled.

Rough seas to calmer sea gave us a chance to wonder the ship and play board games with Darrell and Bonnie.

We enjoyed dinner with our friend David (We joked about him being our adopted grandson!) And met sisters -- Judy from Miami and Valerie from CA. After dinner we relaxed to piano and guitar music in different bars.Read more

Started day out better arriving in Nassau. Sunny day but windy.... water rough. Don's deep sea fishing trip got cancelled due to winds so we rearranged our day.

We hired a local taxi driver for another interesting taxi ride.... we were shown the contrast from slums where water is gotten from a faucet on a post for islanders to get water to carry to their homes to the mansions of the weallthy.

We climbed Queens Staircase, went to Fort Fincastle, a Rum cake factory and to the Atlantis.

Judy & Valerie found us for dinner again. Judy had lymphoma and was going thru chemo.

Morning in Miami
Departed ship - ship to van- van to Miami Airport - airport to train station- train to bus - bus to West Palm Beach Airport- plane to CVG - bus to car - car too HOME!!!
