Galway,located on "The Wild Atlantic Way" (whoch we drove to get here). It is home to the famous Claddagh fishing village and the Claddagh ring. A city that has retainer some of its medieval feel.Lue lisää

The Luxe Bus

Our Airbnb accomo's were in a converted double decker bus in Cobh. The bus did move a little when someone moved about. Not noticeable when we're all hanging out, but first to use toilet thru theLue lisää
Day 4

Time to leave the Luxe Bus & head to Galway. First stop, Cork's English Market. Then on to Cliffs of Moher, through The Burren, & stay in Galway.
Day 3

Today was Titanic Exhibit (this was the place it sailed from prior to hitting iceberg & sinking) & Spike Island. It was a forest, from 6th to 9th century, monks lived on it. Norseman took them out,Lue lisää
Cobh (County Cork)

Some pics of the city, Cobh. I met a family who lives near our bus & they gave recommendations of things to see & do. We're working thru the list.
Day 2

Rest of the clan arrives.
Glendalough

A 6th century monastery founded by St Kevin, a short drive outside of Dublin in County Wicklow. In the valley, so trails are gentle.
