Bayeux is a really beautiful little town with a marvellous cathedral that used to display the tapestry once a year. So much history associated with this place - it was a joy to walk around

I never really appreciated what a vast Beach this is. Hard to imagine what it must of been like 75 years ago. A completely different world today
Mont St Michel

Les machines de Nantes - A quick stop off to see a recommended combination of engineering and creativity in the centre of Nante. Bonus was seeing both the girls get soaked by the elephant!

Or next stop was on a little island just off the coast of Vendée. We explored a cute little model village Museum which showed the styles of different French houses.

Hotel Punta Lara

The hotel we stayed at was quite quaint and although we had to move rooms because our first was very damp, we did enjoy our stay there and the beach walks were very picturesque
