The home of the windmills, they have a museum here which apparently was created because the town would be boring otherwise. It was whole community project which I really like with family days and BBQs to put it all together.

The kids actually had a bit of fun learning how the windmills work especially with the practical lesson using a swing.Read more

We saw a baby whale. Got horrible photos of a black blob but in person the loved watching whale and calf and the three others we could see further out.
Evie especially was very excited, Jenson just hated the flies.Read more

Samantha (on the ground) and Bruce live here permanently now after injuries due to cars. Gorgeous birds and Samantha at least knows her name.
