Saint Remy

We have arrived in Normandy now and we stopped at a great free Aire in the village of Saint Remy. The Aire is right next to a disused railway line that is now a brilliant cycle and walk way in both directions. There is an interesting disused Iron works next to the Aire as well that has been left as it is as a kind of memorial. Remy has a good Boulangerie and a few shops for supplies. We had a peaceful night before moving on in the morning.もっと詳しく

Our last stop before Calais takes us to a lovely shaded Aire just above the river Seine, only room for 5 motorhomes but has free water and waste facilities. It's a short stroll into the town of Duclair which sits on the banks of the Seine, there is a free car ferry to take you to the other side. Plenty of shops and bars in the town and a really good hiking area just above it.もっと詳しく

We are staying at the CCP Aire in Calais for our final night, we stayed here last year and it's a convenient stop for the ferry terminal. We had a nice last walk along the beach and promenade.
