    2day in London

    Hi, today I went all around the monopoly board and I thought I was one of the little people. I went to BUCKINGHAM PALACE, and saw the guards slowly changing places. They were wearing big black fluffy, long red shirts and long black pants. After that we walked to WEST MINSTER ABBEY the history inside the giant building was really old tomes and lots of famous people like kings and queens. The patterns inside the building were amazing and so meany carved by hand. When we walked outside we saw things like BIG BEN and HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT. No 10 Downing Street were the prime minster lives. The big tall men on there big tall horses were there being very serious. We went to M&M WORLD there was m&m everything 4 levels of fun.Leia mais

    London

    On the plane it was really boring, all I did was eat, sleep and watch movies. On our way we got off at Singapore airport to sit down and stretched our legs. After the 1hour stop over we got on the plane it was better than the last plane flight and more cozy. The games and movies were amazing and the space was good too.
    When we got to London there was a parade down the street from the hotel we were staying at for the next 4 nights. The hotel that we were staying at was nice and cozy as well. The weather in London was warm and really sunny. After the parade we whet to the Natural History Museum and saw bones of extinct dinosaurs and other extinct animals. There were blue whales and lions, tigers, diugons, dolfins, fish, mammals, reptiles.The animals at the museum were so realistic and so much detail into the description on the side of the boxes. After that we went to the Hyde Park and saw so meany statues of great people.    Leia mais

    3 day in London

    After we went to the very small shopping centre we took a fast train to THE MONUMENT. After the Monument we went to the TOWER OF LONDON. At the Tower of London I smelt soggy air. I felt people walking by me. I saw pigeons flapping fast above my head and heard trains passing by the station. Inside the tower we saw the the amazing, glittering CROWN JEWELS. They have weapons, weapon cases, robes, shoes, belts, bracelets and cutlery. Not long after lunch we walked across one of the biggest bridges in London, it was spectacular (tower bridge). The river we walked over was called the THAMES. To go to the BOROUGH MARKETS we took a train. They held the markets under the train line.Leia mais

    Matilda

    Tonight we went to see Matilda the musical. It was amazing and all the characters knew their lines and where they needed to go. The props were great, the sets, characters and much, much more. The musical was a little bit different to the movie but there were funny lines that all the characters said.Leia mais

    Day 4 in London

    Hi, I yesterday we went to SAINT PAUL'S CATHEDRAL and saw TEMPLE BAR. The arch was interesting that this use to be the gate into the city and kings and queens use to pass through. SAINT PAUL'S CATHEDRAL was tall and the dome was just so, so detailed. 4 hours later we had HIGH TEA with the mother of the family the my mother nannied for in 1991.the tea was amazing and the food was to the tables and chairs were so detailed and the tea was so posh. Later at night we went to see SCHOOL OF ROCK MUSICAL. It was the best my favourite actor was Katie (the bass player ) the others were just as good as her but I like Katie the best because a girl playing guitar they were always the best in the band. After the musical we went to see MARBLE ARCH and came back home.Leia mais

    Today I went to BELGIUM inside Belgium we went to POLYGN WOOD there were lot and lots of of graves. They we went to TYNE COT CEMETERY there were were more graves then the last one and half the place had unknown ones this was all the dead people from the war WORLD WAR ONE. After that we went to ZONNEBEKE for a yummy lunch staring the baguette it was mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!! They we went to another cemetery and had thousands of dead World War One people. Last we went to BEDFORD HOUSE CEMETERY were Charles Duncan was berried witch is my great great uncle we placed a poppy in remembrance of what he had done for us. Were his first family to visit him ever since he died 100 years ago. R.I.P.Leia mais

    Paris

    Today I woke up early and got ready to leave, we drove to the car pick-drop off area. We dropped off the car and walked to the train station. We waited there for 2h. When we got on the train we sat on the 2nd level. We were on the train for an hour to travel to PARIS. When we got off we walked to our accommodation and went to the super market to get some food. When we got back my nan and pop arrived because they are traveling with us. After that we went up a steep hill to a big white church, with a view over Paris than walked down. Just some time later we walked slowly around the place and saw what we were close to.Leia mais

    Epic day!!

    Yesterday we went to the LOUVRE it had so much detail and statues, my favourite bit was the MONA LISA. It was small and so many people crowed around it. After having lunch (sandwich) we walked to the ARC DE TRIOMPHE, it was big and the arch was so smooth. It was built because the French people wanted a symbol for a victory of the French Army. After that we walked to the EIFFEL TOWER. We took an elevator to the top of the tower and it was tall and the bars were strong it feels like we were going to fall down for ever. At the top it was scary 350-400m in the air. We took a train home, all our feet were boiling.Leia mais

    Friday

    Today our feet hurt so we did not go far. We walked to the POMPIDOU CENTRE it looked cool and the building was inside out. It is a museum of modern art. After that we went to all the small interesting glass shop ally ways. They all had a cute little things. We walked past all the bridges and all the church buildings around like the PANTHEON. My favourite bridge was the padlock bridge like they one they used to have in Melbourne. People buy padlocks and write the names of the people they love on them, they lock it with the key and throw the key in the river. We went after that to a Museum the cost to much to go in. The hole time we were in France I saw around 16 army people holding big guns.Leia mais

    Carcassonne

    Yesterday we went on a train to go to CARCASSONNE. Our second train we went on was cramped a man that was smoking stood in front of my mum and he smelt horrible. .After 30m of standing on the train we walked to our very cozy accomodation and settled. Soon after that we went out for dinner at the castle of CARCASSONNE. There was great shops and a yummy Lollie shop. For dinner we had a French meal: Cassoulet with pork, duck and white beans. After a night we went to the station and waited for the rain to go. After lunch we saw 2 people doing the locks. When we got on the boat we went inside. Soon when the person stoped we went off. Around 5:00 we got some were to stay. About 1hour later we saw another boat pull at our area we called the INLAND.Leia mais

    Lockness monsters!!!!

    When we got up in the morning we were lockless. No locks for the day so no stopping. It was awesome. All we did was play and watch the gold smooth leaves fall from the cold tall trees. In the afternoon we settled at PORT KATE. It had a AQUADUCT just down stream. Some time later we went to look at the aquaduct and the farm. On our way back we picked snails of the grass to eat but there were not good. So we did not eat them. After dinner we locked everything up and went to bed.Leia mais

    Waterfalls

    2 days ago we went to GORGE SURLOUP. The up near a mountain. The hill above it was massive there was a little waterfall the looked man made and on the top of the grassy mountain was a small church looking building. The little dams up and down the river were so cute and we saw things like little caves under rocks beneath the cold clear water. As we were walking across the long scary bridge I walked on loose boards and it felt it won't hold. The boulders we saw were huge and all those cartoon rock stacks we saw one it look like in could stand the hard winds and was going to fall. There was little spar holes. Soon after we had lunch near a tiny little medieval village we walked so much down a path that we just wanted to look at we found our selfs looking at the place we just came from on a huge bridge the we saw while eating lunch. The bridge was so high up it felt like we were walking on sunshine.

    Yesterday we went to nice ( nees ) were we took a tram to PROMENADE D'ANGLAIS where we walked across the beach and had a crape for lunch. The beachs in FRANCE it is all rocky instead of sandy. They had to place sad on the rocks.

    Today we went to some little villages were we saw little art shops candy shops. On the hill we saw lots of little villages like NICE ( nees ) PONT DU LOUP. The views were great. Soon in another village were we ate lunch we saw twin cats, cats at shops, cats sitting at front doors and sadly a lost cat poster. All the cat we did saw were cute. All the views that we saw were awesome. When we got back to our lovely tall home it was late in the afternoon I sat on the couch were I posted this text.

    Sovana

    28 of September. On this day we went to Sovana it was stuck to the side of the mountain. There was a rain forest at one end and a Vie Cave Etruscha. This was a narrow path that had hills on each side caves all around it and a small cold river flowing on the other side of the hill. As we went into one of the caves there was a sign on the sign it said watch out for boor and porcupines both witch can kill you. I saw a boor foot print and I picked up a porcupine the fell from a tree and said here is a porcupine. It was funny. Soon after our walk we had lunch and headed back to our castle on the hill.

    Hot springs

    Today I went to the Hit springs after the little city on the mountain. The hot springs had little pools and they were hog because of the volcano. The higher they went the hotter they got it was like magic. The hot springs had a big white hill that looked like an ice berg but the white bits were the super hot bits it was amazing.Leia mais

    Cinque Terre

    Today we went to Cinque Terre, we drove two and a half hours then we caught a train to the last village that over hung the water. It was called Vernazza. The village was very colourful and pretty. We caught the train to the village back toward the hiking trail. We walked for an hour and a half. We did about 25 minutes up hill and another 20 minutes of flat and the rest down it was tiring but worth it. The views were magnificent and the Mediterranean Sea was so clear we swam in it at the next village down a set of stairs with a bandaid and blood it was creepy but we still went down. We meet a American fisherman that talked with us for some time than left. All that blood that was there was from the fish he ate. After the swim we headed back home.

    Venice

    After all the fun we had we started heading off to VENICE where nan and pop left us. 5hours in the car looking at all the hills and mountains than it went flat. The farms where growing food and the horizon was miles away. When we got into VENICE we walked to our AIRBNB. The place we were stay at was filled with young people it was because the was an uni right next to us. When we got inside the house it was amazing. My mum and dad got this house for me. It was filled with art. After we settled we went for a walk around the hood. For lunch we went to a little restaurant where it took them hours and everyone that came after us got there food first. After lunch we got some food for dinner lunch and went home.Leia mais

    Venice

    Today we went walking around our neighbourhood in VENICE. In the neighbourhood we saw lots of gondolas getting stuck in water traffic. We saw big white bridges crossing the river and small bridges crossing smaller bits of the river. The biggest bridge we saw was called PONT RIALTO it had small shops on it, 3 little paths one either side of the shops and it was crossing the GRAND CANAL. After crossing the bridge we slowly made our way back home through the weaving paths of VENICE.

    Tower

    Late after having breakfast at the buffet downstairs, we went to the Mirabell Gardens. The gardens had beautiful flowers and one part of the garden they had pink and red roses. As we walked around the garden I saw a big, beautiful, dancing fountain. After the gardens we went to "the Castle on the hill ho ho ho over the castle on the hill" never mind at the walls we could see the cannon heads poking out of the little holes. When we walked in we saw the torture camber with puppets and jump scares. Inside it told you what they did to all the bad people like pulled them, put them on a bed of nails, squeezed them and several more. After this we walked into the museum that told us about other things but you were not allowed to take photos. Had a sausage went on our way to our boat where at the end of our ride the boat girl waltzed the boat around in the hard current. After the boat ride we went to the natural History Museum of modern art. After the museum we went home.Leia mais

    Wet, actually soaked

    Today when we woke up, we were ready to go and catch the bus to the snowy mountain. From the bottom of the mountains we could not see much and where the sky rail even stopped.

     As we went up the cart slowly moved into the cold, dark, hazy fog... we saw nothing. Then, as we came out of the fog there were small white icicles dropping all over my window. Then the mountain became clear, there was cold, white snow drops on the little hills. There was tall trees covered in the snow that we saw in front of us. We came to a stop. Time to get off at the top. You will see the cold snow outside the frozen doors. A place to eat and settle down. As we walked outside we got hit by the snow falling from the sky and the hard wind that never stoped. We discovered that it was too cold to stay outside so we came inside, had something warm like a hot chcolate and tea. Findlay and I wanted to go outside to look around and feel the ❄️. When we were coming back I picked up some snow and I wanted to throw it at Finn so I did. Then I started laughing and dad was too.

    Soon after we came down we visited a palace. We saw a fountain with big fish and everywhere you went there was a water trap, this place was called the trick fountains. One of them was at a dinner table and whoever sat at the head would not get water shot up their bum. At the next trick we went into a grotto where there was the rolling stone and a fountain that made sound made by splashing water in different ways. As you walked out you got squirted. There will be two moose statues that you walked under and got soaked at. There was wet sprays coming out of the stairs the people stood on B.T.W. YOUR LEGS GOT WET A LOT.

    The last trick fountain was a little hill smaller than me on top of the hill was a party hat sort of thing, cone shaped and it will be shot up into the air by water. Water was coming out from underneath you too. When we where walking out of the last grotto there was some water spouts that shot from above you I was happy that being short was an advantage for once. After that the guide warned us to watch out at the end it seemed that he was right I turned around as I did that there was some people that were shot everywhere by water. I was shot in my eye. This day was fun even though it was cold snowing and raining. The funny thing was even though you where inside you where always wet and cold.    Leia mais

    Gaming

    Today after breakfast we headed off to a place called Mondsee (that means lake in German.) Half way to our Air BNB we stopped up a hill that had ice caves on it. It was cold, rainy and... cold. After we went past the ticket table, we had to walk up the equivalent of a 40 level sky scraper.

    After a hour of walking and 3 minutes of sky car we got to the top. Fog was rising as we entered the cave. It felt like a cold shower. After one or two minutes of walking to the entrance we got to our English tour guide. As we went in the tour guide introduced himself, his name was "Johahnes" but when he said it in his German accent, it sounded like "your highness". After some time in the freezing cold cave we came to a stop where he told us to imagine some of the ice sculptures being animals, the only ice animals were a bear and a elephant.

    As we walked by the animals we went in a long hall that was 25m tall and 88m long and at the end of the hall was the ashes of the person that found the cave. He always wanted to be berried at the end of the hall in the biggest ice cave in the world. So he was. (The man died in world war 1 as a soldier).

    After the ice caves we walked down. When we got to our farm Air BNB, there were cows, cats, dogs and horses. Inside our house we settled in and met a cute cat I named Garfield. We took the cat down to the games room and played with the cat, played pool, ping pong and fusball. In the middle of playing ping pong another cat came in. I named him Felix because he looked like the cat from the ad. This cat jumped on us, hugged us and jumped on the tables while we were playing, chasing the ping pong balls off the table. The cats did not mind. Soon after, Garfield got mad that we were patting Felix more him. Garfield tried to attack Felix. Garfield ran away and came back the next day to get more love ❤️

    Snowy Mountains

    Today we went to DACHSTEIN MOUNTAIN. We went up the mountain in a gondola that was made out of glass. At the top of the mountain we saw white snow. It was cold and every thing you touched froze your hand. We walked across a bridge that had the wind rushing on you, and if you dropped something it will fall in the snow until it hit the mountain. (the snow was about a metre deep). At the top of the bridge we went inside a door covered in a snow roof. It was the ice palace carved into a glacier. It looked cool and it felt cool too (-0.2*). It was dark and there were ice sculptures, at end of the palace was a throne that we sat on. It was cold, but really cool.

    At the bottom of the mountain we walked up a trail for fun. At the end of the trail was a cottage that sold drinks and had a "sound of music" hill. As we walked back we saw avalanches off the edge of the mountain and 3 mountain goats. It was deadly but beautiful. Soon after, dad starting throwing snowballs, so everyone did. It was funny (^o^) As we went home in the car we saw another snow slide.
