Siem Reap and my day of the year🕯

So today I got a small but very sweet surprise by Peter at our breakfast.
With the words "I had to improvise" he light up a little cotton stick that he sticked in a toast bread and sang me a short happy birthday song.
Cause yeah, todays my birthday and not only did we made it to Siem Reap, our main goal of this motorcycle trip, we made a quick stop at an archery place - another surprise by Peter!
And damn, I was completly clueless when we drove up to the place in the middle of nowhere.
Holding a bow and shooting some arrows after a long time really flashed me back home and I had a lot of fun.
Afterwards didn't happend much, we arrived late at our hostel and explored the Pup Street in Siem Reap a little bit in the evening.

Heute gab es beim Frühstück eine kleine, aber sehr süße Überraschung von Peter.
Mit den Worten „Ich musste improvisieren“ zündete er ein kleines Wattestäbchen an, das er in ein Toastbrot steckte, und sang mir ein kurzes Geburtstagslied.

Denn ja, heute ist mein Geburtstag, und wir haben es nicht nur nach Siem Reap geschafft, unserem Hauptziel dieser Motorradtour, sondern auch noch einen kurzen Zwischenstopp bei einem Bogenschießplatz eingelegt – noch eine Überraschung von Peter!
Mann, ich hatte absolut keine Ahnung, wo das war, als wir da mitten im Nirgendwo ankamen.

Nach so langer Zeit wieder einen Bogen in der Hand zu halten und Pfeile zu schießen, hat mich total an Zuhause erinnert, und es hat riesigen Spaß gemacht.
Danach ist nicht mehr viel passiert. Wir kamen spät in unserem Hostel an und haben abends noch ein bisschen die Pup Street in Siem Reap erkundet.Read more
