Cottongton gardens. The best place. Miniature English places and models. Plus European one too. So much better than expected
TravelerThen on with the day trip. We went to my Ainsley lookout for a great view of the city and surrounds. Next to the Carillon which was closed but we got close. Looking for a spot for lunch so ask a couple of locals who sent us to The Pier. A great choice. On Lake Burley Griffin. Good enough food and cold drinks. Next to the arboretum. Ok. Many many plants. A good display of Bonsai but the rest was average. The native and Bush Tucker garden was dry and only marked with the plant name. Not what it was used for. A good lookout at Dairy Farmers Hill. Next to the embassies. Fun. Then back to camp. So beyond warm. But meant to be 7 tonight. We’ll see
