Hydeaway Bay

A sleepy caravan park on the Gloucester Peninsula. Not much happening here and that is fine by us!
We drove up to Monte’s resort and had a gold plated cocktail overlooking the water. Very nice. Then drive up to Gloucester resort and checked it out. Shinier and more polished but a great spot. Back to camp then at dusk the campfire was lit and about 25 campers sat around and chatted. One camper offered around a huge nachos.
One Sunday we drove up to the Gloucester resort and sat with a drink then contacted Buck’s sister in law Donna and her husband Ted. They arrived at 1.30 when we had eaten lunch and had a couple of drinks. After they had lunch we went to their “shack on the beach” down near Monte’s resort. Right on the beach and envy all about.
Back to camp for a quiet night in a cute quiet camp. Lots of dogs.Read more
