...the Musee de Orsay!
I had a lovely long bus ride past the Louvre to the museum and then didn't have to wait long to get in. The Sargent exhibition was way better than I had even hoped!! I then went around the Impressionists and most of the rest of the gallery. The building was originally a railway station and has a
very high roof.
I then went for a walk in the sun along the Seine, eating my fromage and jambon sarmie from a local boulangerie near Phillip and Sophie. Up the Boulevard St Michel I found the Cluny Gallery, a turreted Gothic mansion housing vast collection of medieval arts, crafts & tapestries from the Middle Ages. It was amazing to see the Lady and the Unicorn, tho' the unicorn looks like a goat!
