Camino Norte, Day 20 => Cuerres

Half of the Way to Santiago de Compostela.

16 miles with 1630’ ascent, 1530’ descent. Rolling hills through forest/farms and small villages in the hilly valley between the Cantabrian mountain chain and the Atlantic Ocean.

Stopped into a monastery and two chapels along the way.

Party cloudy and low 60s today - nice - until it started raining the last three miles. Pouring rain all day tomorrow along a route similar to today.Read more
