This morning we watched the All Blacks. Great wine 57/0. After lunch we went and had a nosey at an unusual shopping centre......similar to Victoria Markets. Some way out shops and expensive prices. Also had a late lunch/ early dinner there. Had a nice chicken burger. Quiet a few weddings being photographed there. It's a popular venue for photo shoots. Another beautiful warm day.Leggi altro

After our shopping market dinner we went up to their CN sky tower. This is the third highest in the world.
NZ is the fifth highest. Great Views! Toronto is quiet a big city.

Today we went shopping for food for dinner tonight for a gathering we are having here. Also bought some clothes.

This afternoon we went to a river to see if the salmon were running. We didn't see any. Apparently they should have started running up stream by now but the weather has been too warm. Today is our last day in Canada. A great resting stop. Jeff and Maria are lovely people and enjoyed our stay with them. Have to pack again then off to LA

Arrived in USA yesterday afternoon. Have got a cold. Have to buy some Night and Day . Hope it goes soon. Had a nice dinner with Ainsleys son Dan and wife Lesley and her grandson Cash. Nice night. Had happy hour and got food and drinks for half price. Love those bargains. Staying at the Standard Hotel on Sunset Boulevard.Nice big room with views to Hollywood.Leggi altro

This morning had breakfast at Mel's dinner. Yummy breakfast. After breakfast we ubered to this huge shoe warehouse to buy shoes. Then we ubered over to Dan's place. Love Uber!
He has a 1960 Edsel. Great old tank. We fitted in comfortably. No need for seat belts. Went to a park and had a picnic with Dan,Lesley and their mates. One of Dan's friends is a film star. Her name is Kate and she starred in the movie ^Jean Batten^. She got a nomination for it.Leggi altro

20th September 2017.
Today we are heading off to Las Vegas. Chilling by the poolside till our flight later this afternoon. Ainsley and I painted each other's toe nails while the men have gone for a walk. He! He!
Arrived at Las Vegas. OMG! .....what a bling, bling city. So many casinos. So many bright lights.
Great views from our hotel room. We can see the French casino with the Eiffel Tower and the Roman one with the Colaseum. We are staying at the Mirage casino.Leggi altro

More night life at other casinos called Venetian and The Palazzo. Even got gondolas and canals built inside the shopping complex which is inside the casino building. Such extravagance.

Tonight we went to Cirque de Soleil The Beatles ^Love^. What a great show. Awesome choreography.
We had awesome seats. In the middle and five rows from the front!
This was also held here at the Mirage casino. Hence the reason we stayed here.
Not allowed to take photos or videos of the show. After the show Graham and I had a little flutter in the casino.

22nd September 2017.
This morning we leave Las Vegas and fly back to Los Angeles. What a maniac experience!
Took some photos of the entrance of our hotel.
Also did my first selfie with Mr Happy today......actually he wasn't too bad.
Everywhere you go in these hotels you have to walk through the casino first....a bit like duty free at the airport.
Never had a chance to see the other casinos. There was one shaped like a pyramid.
Back in LA. Went for a drive down Hollywood Blvd......nothing much. Saw Chew Chew from Star Wars.Leggi altro

Our last day in USA. We just relaxed by the pool.
Went out till late last night. Dan is a D.J in a night club so we went along. Just like the youngies we left home at 10pm and got home about 1.30am. Couldn't take pictures as its too dark there. But did a video so we can hear the music.Leggi altro

Good bye USA. This is the end of our trip. Catching our flight back to good Ole NZ.
We did an assessment of our trip while we were waiting for our flight. Some interesting observations.
We used 17 modes of transport to tour the world. Everyone had different favourite places and different dissapointments. Quiet interesting.
