London - transit thoughts
11 Ogos 2015, England ⋅ 🌧 17 °C
Having made my way around London on public transit for a week, here is a long rant about it. No details of my activities so skip if you're interested in that.
Tube/train is loud, usually hot, andBaca lagi
Have you seen the congestion charge pricing in London? 11.50 (which is ~$24) just to drive into the congestion zone during the day. That's pretty intense taxing and yet there's still a lot of cars. IMO the public transport was overpriced and old. Sydney is cheaper, newer and much nicer, albeit at about half the speed of the underground! - Vel
Pengembara Sounds like it still should be higher. If a return tube trip is around 6 pounds then it becomes cost effective to drive if you have 2 people? That still sounds like it could be higher if you don't want the city to fill with cars.
