  • The blue city

    July 10, 2019 in Morocco ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

Woke up superrr early to catch the sun rise. It was foggy but still cool to see. Then off to Chefchaouen where we had a 3 hour drive turn to 5. We passed the big lake and tried not to get scammed by little kiddies. Scott fell asleep on my shoulder and megs and I played funny games assaulting people's ears with our singing. We then made it and had a lovely lunch before exploring the blue streets attempting to get the perfect gram shot. Me and megs got a great price for henna and mastered haggling in the markets. Headed home and btw nearly died several times due to crazy Moroccan driving where their overtaking methods are questionable.Read more

Woke up in our boiling hot tents and attempted to watch the sunrise but I was cloudy. Had a massive breakfast and then got back on our camels for another camel massage. We had so much reception on the camel ride we thought it was a great time to call everyone we know. Then made it back to our driver heading towards Dades valley stopping at some scenic points where the locals nearly made us buy scarves. We stopped at a beautiful gorge with a Springwater river. And then made it to our hotel with a stunning view. Meagan was called a crazy girl by the hotel staff (in a fun way ;) ).Read more
