    Road tripp

    Off to Marrakech stopping to see the Atlas studios. We saw the famous Kasbah and the highest altitude point. We then got sucked in by the beautiful rugs and bought some. We then made it to Marrakesh where we had a little wander around. Back at our apartment megs tripped the power and we had to wait in the dark to get it fixed.Leia mais

    Explored Marrakesh in the heat. Saw the palace of the Sultan. Went to the kasbah, mosque and explored some markets where there were snake charmers. Soo hot and tired we had to go back home for a nap. Then had an expensive dinner with a sunset view.Leia mais

    My Birthday

    Woke up to t swiz I'm feeling 22. and had a lovely brekkie. Then we found our driver and went off into the mountains. We went to see the Berber way of life in the Berber villages and saw the ladies making argan oil. We then went on a hike to see the waterfalls and our guide taught us lots of the Berber language. Then had lunch in the middle of a river. Then had a little nap before going back to do some more shopping in the markets and had dinner with a sunset view again.Leia mais

    Morocco - Spain

    We escaped the Medina and saved the princess in an escape room. Then had our last lunch in Morocco before heading to the airport. At the airport they hand wrote our boarding pass and when we got to security we had to go alllll the way back because the date was missing and we couldn't write it in. Made it to Valencia. Meagan got severe food poisoning up all night.Leia mais

    Went on a walking tour and explored the town. Saw the holy grail, silk market, food market, and churches. Then we had our first paella and sangria. Then we climbed the tower and nearly died from lack of fitness. Then went to the museum of art and science and saw some interesting linguistic, mars and chromosome exhibitions. Meagan stayed home today not feeling too crash hot. We then went out to dinner and tried tapas with the best meatball we have ever had and the famous Valencian cocktail (orange). Then we went on a pub crawl which was lots of fun and made some friends along the way.Leia mais

    Had a relaxing day we went into the town and saw a UNESCO activity where people come sit outside the church to discuss the water irrigation however there's nothing to talk about now so they sit for 5 mins then leave. Then had a yummy gelato. Then nearly missed the bus AGAIN to Barcelona due to laziness and bad time management. Then when we got to Barcelona we met the boys friends from their Croatia trip who stayed with us.Leia mais

    Window shopping in Barcelona

    Spent the day in Barcelona saw the la Sagrada familia from the outside. Then went to see some of Goudi's beautiful apartment buildings. Then we went to Güell park and walked through the gardens and saw his sculptures from a distance because the tickets were sold out for the day. The group then split and I went with the boys to see the food markets where we got a bouquet of salami and lots of fruit. We then went to Barcelona stadium and once again only saw it from the outside as it was closed for the day. Then we all got back and watched the girls take hours and hours to get ready for a pub crawl. At the pub crawl danced the night away making friends and pulling out the dad moves.Leia mais

    Beach day

    Had a big sleep in because everyone crawled home in the early hours of the morning. We then headed to the beach for a swim. Then we went back home, Megs Scott and I got ready for a Flamenco show. The show was amazing! We then went to dinner and had tapas and it was very yummy.Leia mais

    Salt and sweat

    With Scot out of action due to the possible bug going around Nick, Megs and I headed to Cassis for a beach day. Arriving in Cassis we treated ourselves to a nice gelato! We then had a long walk to get to got first beach and thought it couldn't get any better swimming in beautiful blue waters and jumping off the rocks. We then hiked up and down a mountain on the more difficult path walking on slippery rocks. I thought I was going to turn into puddle of sweat! But we made it and it was a beautiful spot. There was also a cute well behaved dog practicing his moves. We then hiked it back up and down the mountain back into town for some dinner. We then realised that the busses up to the train station finish at 8 15 and it was 8 30! So we attempted to get an Uber or taxi however failed. Exhausted we hiked up another big hill turning a 45min walk into a 30min one just so we could make the train. Big day!Leia mais

    Woke up and went for a walking tour around the old town ending up at the old castle on the hill. We then went for a long swim on the pebbly beach. Had lunch and another swim before doing some shopping. Then it was time for me to leave my friends catch a flight back to Dublin.Leia mais
