    Found yet another LFC supporters group 😂 Met the loveliest couple Inna & Ray who ended up secretly paying our bill! And gave us a lift to the punk festival! Loved them 💛 Festival was amazing! Craft beer, tonnes of great bands, and so much dancing that we can hardly move now 😂 Loved our very brief visit to Sacramento!Meer informatie

    Santa Monica, LA 🌞

    We ran out of time (and spends!) to drive the entire Pacific Coast Highway, so flew down from Sacramento to LA and hired a car from the airport just for a day 🚗 Still managed to drive up the coast and see some of the incredible views along the highway! Santa Monica and the mountains were absolutely beautiful 🏔 🧡 And found a great vegan cafe by the beach 🙌🏼🌱Meer informatie

    Tárcoles & Jaco 🌴

    Our first stop with Nay & Ewen 🧡 Tárcoles on the west coast. Stayed in a beautiful jungle villa (our wedding present from them 😍), with a pool and hot tub 🙌🏼 Saw sooo much wildlife - scarlet macaws 🦜 crocodiles 🐊 monkeys 🐒 - so beautiful! Had a great time exploring Jaco too, and hiking in the National Park. In love with Costa Rica already 💕Meer informatie

    La Fortuna 🌋

    Volcanos, hiking, and hot springs! Costa Rica is just breathtaking. Sooo much variety - from the wildlife and plants, to the lakes and volcanoes, to the beaches and the beer! Absolutely loving it 🧡

    Tortuguero 🐒

    Travelled via a little motor boat to get onto Tortuguero island 🌴 The island is 99% national park, and 1% tiny village! We’re too early in the season for turtles sadly, but still saw an incredible amount of wildlife on an early morning boat tour. Greeted with fresh coconuts at our little apartments 🥥 really cutes hosts!Meer informatie

    Puerto Viejo 🥥

    Our last week as a four, spent on the beautiful Caribbean coast in Puerto Viejo 🌴 Best weather we’ve had in Costa Rica so far 🌞 Travelling during the shoulder season has meant we’ve had a few rainy days here and there, but never too bad to stop us doing anything. No rain here though! Just what we all needed after such a busy couple of weeks - a week on the beach! Two gorgeous national parks either side of Puerto Viejo too, so lots of hiking again, saw wild sloths and monkeys 🐒 🥾 My favourite place so far without question! 🧡🙌🏼 Felt a little sad leaving as it means our time in Costa Rica is coming to an end! 😭 But we will most certainly be back 👍🏼Meer informatie

    Goodbye Costa Rica!

    One last trip back to San Jose to give back the hire car 🚙 (All very surprised the car lasted the entire 3 weeks!) Saw the Cost Rican national football team play Martinique in the Nations League (won 2-0!) which was a great end to our time as a four. Next stop: Colombia! 🇨🇴Meer informatie

    Cartagena 🇨🇴 (part 1!)

    Cartagena 🇨🇴 (part 2!)

    Absolutely loved our week in Medellin (and the surrounding parts)! 💛 🇨🇴 Ate so much tasty food, really enjoyed the slightly cooler climate, loved our day trips out to Guatape and the coffee farm, enjoyed so much beautiful scenery from the cable car, and loved our Latin dance lesson! Feels so strange that this leg of our trip really is coming to an end very soon! Exciting times ahead though! 🙌🏼👌🏼Meer informatie

    Eating our way through Medellin 🥙

    Documenting some of the delicious food we ate in Medellín!👌🏼 👩‍🍳 We decided to eat out a lot, as our flight home was looming! And there were SO many incredible veggie restaurants and cafes here! 🌱 We ate like kings and queens for our week in Medellín, absolutely spoilt for choice. Favourites included: roasted cauliflower with coconut cream, ‘meatballs’ and hummus, Asian summer rolls, vegan sushi, and fried palitos (or fried cheese 🧀) 💛Meer informatie
