X-Mas in Hamburg & 1. Stopp in Berlin

DEUTSCH:
„Es sind nur ein paar Klamotten” sagte er 😉 Ich weiß, ich habe einen sehr entspannten oder auf französisch „Laisser-faire“ Freund, aber das war definitiv ein bisschen zu optimistisch gedacht. Schließlich überlassen wir unsere Wohnung für vier Monate an ein anderes Paar und wollen dies anständig organisieren 😬 Also hatten wir alles, aber keine wirklichen Weihnachtsgefühle vom 25.-27.12.22. Was soll‘s: Es ist trotzdem Weihnachtszeit! Das erste Weihnachten für Romain in Deutschland 🥳 Der Plan ist, Weihnachten mit meiner Familie und Freunden in Großansdorf zu feiern🍲🥂 Wie war es? Er sagt, er mochte es wirklich und ich glaube ihm das einfach mal😜

Wir fahren abends doch noch nach Hamburg zurück, da wir noch viel organisieren wollen / müssen. Aber es sind ja nur ein paar Klamotten, nä? 😉 In ein paar Stunden sollten wir fertig sein… dachten wir, bis wir ein riesiges Schimmelproblem in unserem Kleiderschrank entdecken 😱 ok lass uns ruhig bleiben, nachdenken und einen Wein trinken 🍷 wir müssen den Kleiderschrank abbauen, die Wand einsprühen, trocken und übermalen 😫 ok keine Zeit mehr zu denken (Wein zutrinken) lass uns einfach anfangen und jede Hilfe annehmen die wir bekommen können (Dank nochmal Ivan 😚 El Salvador). Als Dank haben wir alles was wir noch an Lebensmitteln in der Küche hatten verkocht/ verbacken (wenigstens kommt beim Backen von Omis Vanillekipferln ein bisschen weihnachtliches Gefühl auf 👵🏻) und waren froh das alles noch mit Freunden teilen zu können und uns zu verabschieden 👋

Nach dem Packen, Reinigen und natürlich halbwegs Organisieren des Vans 🚐 bringen wir noch schnell ein paar Koffer zu Jessys Eltern und starten fast „pünktlich" (zwei Stunden später als wir dachten) zur Reise in Richtung unseres ersten Halts in Berlin 🗺️ Dort hatten wir ein kleines Burger und Wein Intermezzo mit meiner Schwester und Familie 🍔 und um Mitternacht verabschiedeten wir uns, da es nächsten Tag bis an den Bodensee gehen soll. Romain wollte sogar in der Nacht noch ein bisschen weiterfahren bis wir einen netten ersten Stopp für den Van und zum Schlafen gefunden haben 😴 🕛

FRANÇAIS:
"C'est juste quelques vêtements à trier et sortir de l'appart", a-t-il dit 😉 Je sais que j'ai un copain relax et facile à vivre ou disons-le à la française "avec un peu de laisser-aller" mais c'était définitivement un peu trop optimiste pour quitter notre logement pendant quatre mois, sachant que l'on prévoit de le sous-louer à un autre couple pendant 4 mois 😬. Alors nous sommes passés par toutes les émotions sauf la joie de Noël du 25 au 27.12.22. Cependant : C'est Noël ! Le tout premier en Allemagne pour Romain 🥳 Le plan est de le fêter avec la famille et les amis de Jessie à Großansdorf 🍲🥂 Comment c'était ? Très bien selon lui, donc je m'efforce de le croire 😜.

Nous retournons le soir à Hambourg car nous avons encore beaucoup de choses à organiser. Mais ce ne sont que quelques vêtements à ranger n'est-ce pas ? 😉 Quelques heures et nous devrions être prêts… jusqu'à ce que nous découvrions un énorme problème d'humidité et de moisissure dans le dressing 😱! Ok restons calmes réfléchissons et buvons un verre de rouge 🍷. Nous devons démonter l'armoire, absorber l'humidité du mur, le sécher et le repeindre afin de cacher la misère 😫! Pas le temps de réfléchir davantage, au boulot et cherchons toute l'aide que nous pourrions obtenir (Merci Ivan 😚 El Salvador). En gage de remerciements nous offrons simplement tout ce qu'il nous reste dans la cuisine (jour férié tout est fermé mais au moins quelques sensations de Noël avec les biscuits traditionnels de ma grand-mère 🍪 et le thé maison)🧑🏼‍🍳. Nous sommes heureux de recevoir d'autres potes venir boire un coup et manger pour dire au revoir 👋!

Après avoir emballé, nettoyé et bien sûr aussi organisé le van 🚐 nous avons apporté les affaires chez parents de Jessys et sommes partis "à l'heure" (deux heures plus tard que prévu) pour commencer le voyage vers notre premier arrêt à Berlin 🗺️ Nous avons là dégusté un burger maison accompagné de vin et chez ma soeur 🍔. Nous sommes repartis vers minuit et Romain voulait continuer un peu plus loin jusqu'à ce que nous trouvions notre premier arrêt pour dormir à l'intérieur du Van vers 2h30 du matin 😴 🕛

ENGLISH:
“It’s just a few clothes” he said 😉 I know I have an easy going or let’s say it the French way Laisser-faire boyfriend but that was definitely a bit too optimistic for leaving our apartment for four months including subleasing it to another couple 😬 So we had everything but no Christmas feeling from 25.-27.12.22. However: It is Christmas time! The first one ever in Germany for Romain 🥳 The plan is to celebrate Christmas with Jessie´s family & friends in Großansdorf 🍲🥂 How it was? He says he really likes it and I want to believe it 😜

We go back in the evening to Hamburg since we want / have to organise still a lot. But it is just a few clothes, right? 😉 A couple of hours and we should be ready… as we tried to believe it until we discovered a huge humidity problem in the dressing 😱 ok let’s stay calm think and drink a wine 🍷 we need to dismount the wardrobe, spray the wall, dry and paint it 😫 ok no time to think more let’s just do it and take any help we could get (Thanks Ivan 😚 El Salvador). We said thank you with just offering everything we had left in the kitchen and cooked and baked (at least a bit of Christmas feeling doing my grandmas traditional cookies 🍪) feeling doing the tea🧑🏼‍🍳 We were happy to have some other friends coming over and sharing our food and saying goodbye 👋

After packing, cleaning and of course also organising the van 🚐 we brought some stuff to Jessys parents and just left “on time” (two hours later than we thought) to start the trip towards our first stop in Berlin 🗺️ There we had a little burger and wine intermezzo with my sister and family 🍔 close to midnight we left and Romain wanted to continue a bit further until we found our first stop to sleep inside the Van 😴 🕛
