Not only did the farmland have turbines but some have oil drill pumps and cell towers.

Most of the farms are so large you don't even see the homes.

Hays Kansas

We ended the day at Hays Kansas. We hoped to be a little farther than that. But we made up a little time today. Traffic was much better. Kansas is a very wide state. It's mostly flat but the fields are hilly. It took me a while to realize it is the prairie! Taking pictures along the road isn't easy but it's better than nothing.Read more
