Traveling to Grand Junction

After the train ride we drove from Canon City to Grand Junction. The trip took us on route 50 west. The beginning was similar to the gorge as it followed the river and the tracks. Then the scenery was even more spectacular. It changed as we went along. We went over a mountain that we could only see in the distance at first.
