After we set up our camp site, we entered the National Park at St. Mary Visitor center and drove the "Going to the sun road", along huge mountains, deep valley and stunning nature.
We enjoyed the great view at the campground, played cards, had a nice meal and relaxed with a very nice campfire. By the way temperatures dropped over night into 40°F.
We had an early start, with some breath taking views at the campground. Then we headed straight to the Canadian border in Carway. It's open from 8am to 6pm, so be sure you return on time!!!
No bears today, but a very spectacular trip in Canada. We enjoyed two smaller hikes ( there wasn't more time for this). But we're sure, we have to come back. This is an amazing place to stay longer.
We made it back in time. After we stopped at the duty free shop and bought a bottle of rum, the lady transported the bottle with a van behind the border to the pick up station.
