The Land of bad roads, chevrolets and colorfully dressed women. Coming from Kazakhstan i crossed the border into the autonomous republic of Karakalpakstan.
After the notoriously bad road connecting the border to the nearest towns i arrived in Nukus, the capital city of the autonomous region.
Besides the bad roads, finding good petrol is also a challenge in Uzbekistan. Most of the local cars run on methane gas and motorcycle are pretty much nonexistent.Read more
