We have had a fantastic 2 days on the Tremiti Islands. The scenery and casual, laid-back, island lifestyle really suited us BUT our ferry back to the mainland this afternoon just did not arrive 😢.Weiterlesen
ReisenderYou sure you haven’t taken a detour! Termoli and the Tremiti Islands remind us so much of our wonderful time in Crete. They are geographically quite close and the landscape and architecture is very similar. Not to mention the incredible clear ocean water.
ReisenderYes I imagine it's very similar. We are now in Vieste and its stunning also.

We finally left the Tremiti Islands, one day late and with still much confusion 😕
We travelled back via Peschici on the ferry to Vieste were we can now settle in for the next six days

Settled into our wonderful apartment with 270 degree views of the Adriatic Ocean and of Vieste

Is this Zaiana Beach? If so, you must see on the opposite side of this Trabucco on a rock a big white house. This is Casa Zaiana, which I took care of in March! 💚😘
ReisenderVerena, when we came by ferry to Vieste, we passed Zaiana Beach and I knew exactly which casa it was (from watching the drone footage on your blog) - it is amazing!

We had a early start to the day,up at 5 am to start the journey from Vieste to Lake Garda. 3 hours on the bus then 6 hours on the train

Today we travelled on the public ferry to visit some of the southern towns on the east coast of Lake Garda
