    Day 46: To Las Herrerías

    Arrived here at noon and have had shower, done washing and pegged it out but a couple of hours later the sun has gone followed by impressive peals of thunder with lightning followed by rain. This is the place where you can hire a horse to take you up the mountain 8 km to the next town. The two American ladies Fraser and I encountered a few times booked their horses before they left America. 7:30 pm - nothing dried and I have about 6 pieces of damp clothing. Had a nice 3 course pilgrim meal and had a good chat with a Dutchman in same room here as me .Read more
