Day 58: To Ribadiso Da Baixo

Ribadiso Da Baixo; pop. 61 (or 9 depending on which guidebook!) It's a very small place but attractive with stone houses and entry is over a 13th century stone bridge to cross the river Iso. Another rainy day needing to put on rain jacket and overtrousers. I took one alternative route which added a kilometre but was green and quiet so very pleasant away from crowds. Passed through plantations of eucalyptus which apparently are controversial.- although good for fuel and other uses are no use for construction or wild life habitats.Read more
