Milford Sound

We took a trip from Te Anua to Milford Sound in a minibus with a guide. It was a good decision as it took the pressure off us. Our guide, Jo Jo, was very enthusiastic, telling us about the Maori and settler history and the ecology of the region. The photos of Milford speak for themselves. There aren't enough superlatives. We relaxed after in the hot tub with a view of Lake Anua, then had a lovely meal in a Thai restaurant. My opinion of Te Anua improved as it had a lively atmosphere in the evening.
